Fuzhu (tofu skin), a traditional specialty of Longmen County, is famous for its rich soybean aroma, golden color, delicate texture, and smooth taste. Made using traditional techniques, Longmen Fuzhu retains the authentic flavor and natural nutrients of soybeans. Whether simmered in soups, stir-fried, or served cold, it offers a uniquely satisfying flavor.
The main ingredient of tofu skin is soybeans. First, the soybeans are ground into soy milk and boiled, during which a thin film forms on the surface. This film is then carefully lifted, draped over bamboo poles, and left to dry, eventually becoming fuzhu. High-quality fuzhu is golden, glossy, and packed with protein and essential nutrients.
