Located along the Jinsha River, this village marks the site where the PLA's 18th Army crossed the river in 1950 and launched the operation leading to Xizang's liberation. The site includes a battlefield memorial park, restored barracks, a folk customs exhibition hall and preserved fortifications. It is now part of a national red tourism route.
