On January 25, the 2025 Yuexiu Xihu Flower Market officially opened at GrandBuy Mall on Xihu Road, Yuexiu District, Guangzhou. Running from January 25 to January 29, the four-day event showcases a vibrant cultural spectacle for visitors.
This year, the flower market features 10 Cantonese intangible cultural heritage projects, including ivory carving and lion dancing, in collaboration with the Nanyue King Museum. All attractions deeply explore Cantonese culture, evoking memories and showcasing the "century-old flower market" charm.
Safety is a priority, with the use of 5G, video analysis, and AI to monitor crowd flow in real-time and ensure efficient traffic management.
Reminder:
During the flower market, one-way pedestrian flow will be implemented throughout the Xihu Flower Market, the middle and southern sections of Beijing Road, and the Huifu East Road Food Street. Entry is via Taikang Road, Wende Road, and Wenming Road. Strict control measures will be taken if necessary. Follow on-site guidance and avoid bringing dangerous items or parking vehicles in and around the flower market. For assistance, visit volunteer and service points.
