Zhongshan's first island ferry route officially began its operations on July 1, offering direct services from Zhongshan Passenger Port (中山客运口岸‌) to Guishan Island (桂山岛) and Dong'ao Island (东澳岛) in Zhuhai.

Along the journey, passengers can enjoy views of two landmark infrastructure projects in China: the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. Tickets can be purchased through the WeChat Mini Program "Zhongshan-Hong Kong Passenger Ferry Ticket (中港客运船票)". From July 1 to September 30, passengers can enjoy a 20% discount on fares. The full adult fare is 120 yuan for standard class and 144 yuan for first class.

Guishan Island is known for its scenic coastal road, lighthouse, sandy beaches, and fresh seafood, making it a popular getaway for visitors seeking seaside views and a glimpse into local fishing village culture.
