As early spring arrives, some cherry blossoms are already blooming on Eighteen Arhats Mountain (十八罗汉山) in Nansha District, Guangzhou, South China's Guangdong Province. The golden trumpet trees are at their peak, while the purple trumpet flowers by Yunying Valley are beginning to show. Peach blossoms in the garden are also in full bloom.

The 4th Nansha Cherry Blossom Festival will officially open on March 14. Thousands of cherry trees will gradually burst into bloom, with pink and white petals drifting in the wind, offering an immersive experience of spring's tenderness and romance.
The opening ceremony will feature special guests who will kick off the event with a flourish. The melodious sounds of 18 musical instruments will fill the air, paired with interactive activities and intangible cultural heritage displays, featuring fresh highlights every day!
The two main cherry-viewing areas, Yunying Valley (云樱谷) and Liying Garden (俪樱园), will transform into a sea of pink. Specially designed installations, including cherry blossom waterfalls, heart-shaped blossom trees, and ancient-style photo corridors, invite visitors to capture spring at every turn. Whether you're with family, a partner, or friends, every shot will capture the essence of spring and light up your social media.

A cherry blossom-themed market will also be in full swing, offering Nansha's local specialties, intangible cultural heritage crafts, and limited-edition cherry-flavored treats, as well as an eye-catching coffee market. With so much to choose from, it's the perfect place to go after soaking in the blossoms.

This year, transportation has been improved with nearly 1,000 temporary parking spaces added. A dedicated shuttle route connecting downtown Nansha and Dagang Town (Dagang Bus Terminal to Nansha Central Hospital) was launched last October. Key stops include Colorful Gaoxinsha (Gaoxinsha Island), Nansha District Government, Nansha COCO Park, and Nansha Wanda Plaza. The trip from Nansha's center to Dagang Town (大岗镇) takes just 35 minutes. For the festival, take the bus toward Dagang Bus Terminal and walk eight minutes to reach Eighteen Arhats Mountain.
