A three-person canoe race, part of the 2nd 2025 Nanzhuang Water Sports Carnival in China, kicked off in Nanzhuang Town, Chancheng District, Foshan City on November 29, attracting over a hundred teams from various backgrounds to compete.


The 4-kilometer racecourse connects the main picturesque locations in the Zinan Cultural Tourism Area. The location features a stunning landscape and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA)'s first fully autonomous intelligent boat release system, specifically designed for water activities.
In addition to its professionalism, the event was full of fun. On-site highlights included the golden dragon parade, a flyboard lion dance performance high above the water, a go-kart boat tour, and a two-person Lingtong relay race. These exciting activities delighted the citizens and tourists present, drawing constant praise.





This year, Nanzhuang has hosted over 100 events of various types, attracting more than 230,000 participants. In particular, the town's five-person dragon boat race drew 249 teams to compete, setting a new record for scale in the GBA.
