Acclaimed Chinese film "Dear You" staged its Thailand preview screening on August 4, bringing its story of overseas Chinese family ties to Southeast Asian audiences after its theatrical success in China.
Thai Minister of Culture Sabeeda Thaised said the letter at the center of the film represented love, passion and responsibility, themes that hold deep personal resonance for Thailand's Teochew-heritage community.
She also expressed her intention to watch the movie again with her family, highlighting its universal appeal.
