Wish granted: Guangdong company gifts guitar to Czech journalist after viral Two Sessions interview

A small moment at China's Two Sessions has turned into an unexpected cross-border story.

A few days ago, during the Guangdong Delegation's Open Day at Two Sessions in Beijing, Czech journalist Helena Kočová tried a unique stringless guitar from Guangdong. The instrument, played by touching built-in sensors instead of traditional strings, quickly caught her attention.

In the video report, Helena enjoyed the guitar so much that she said her children would love it. The clip quickly went viral online.

After seeing the report, LiberLive, the Guangdong company that manufactures the guitar, decided to turn Helena's comment into reality. The company contacted the media team and asked them to deliver the guitar to her as a gift.

When Helena received the instrument, she was visibly excited. "Thank you so much. I will play it all tonight," she said with a smile.

Although she joked that she might keep the guitar for herself because she liked it so much, Helena said the first thing she would do after returning home is show it to her children.

"I think they will absolutely love it," she said. "My son loves music and has a perfect sense of rhythm. Maybe this could be the beginning of his career as a singer."

Beyond the touching moment, Helena also said she sees strong potential for the product in the Czech Republic and hopes to help connect the company with local opportunities in the future.

What started as a simple on-site interaction during China's Two Sessions has now become a small story about innovation, kindness, and connection.

From Guangdong to the Czech Republic, a guitar has traveled far, and perhaps sparked the beginning of a young musician's dream.
