After more than two months of competition, the Guangdong City Basketball League (Yue BA) has reached its final regular-season round. As teams battle for playoff spots, our AI-generated jersey poster series is also coming to an end.
For this final edition, the spotlight turns to the last three cities: Chaozhou, Jieyang, and Yunfu.
Chaozhou: Fulou Monkey & Guangji Bridge

Chaozhou's jersey is inspired by Yingge Dance, a traditional folk performance that is part of China's national intangible cultural heritage. Known for its swift movements, powerful drum-driven rhythm, and strong visual impact, it is often performed during festivals, with dancers moving in coordinated formations and striking short wooden sticks to deliver a rhythmic and dynamic show. The slogan "Strike the Drum" brings this spirit onto the basketball court.
At the center of the design is the Fulou Monkey, the tourism mascot of Chaozhou Ancient City. Reimagined as a basketball performer, it is shown in a pose inspired by Yingge Dance. The sticks in its hands are shaped like basketballs, drawing on the traditional wooden props of Yingge Dance to playfully connect folk rhythm with basketball energy.
Below it stands Guangji Bridge, one of China's four great ancient bridges. Built more than 800 years ago during the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279), the bridge is famous for its unique structure combining stone arches, beam sections, and a movable floating section once used for passing boats. It has long been one of Chaozhou's most important landmarks and a symbol of the city's history and culture.
Jieyang: Green Lion Dance

Jieyang's jersey centers on the Green Lion Dance, one of the city's most iconic cultural symbols and a national-level intangible cultural heritage. Known for its fierce appearance and energetic performances, the Green Lion Dance represents courage, strength, and local pride. The slogan "Roar the Glory" captures that fearless spirit.
The centerpiece of the design shows the Green Lion holding a basketball in its mouth. In front of the lion are short wooden sticks inspired by Yingge Dance. In traditional lion dance performances, an embroidered ball is often used as a key visual element. Here, it is reimagined as a basketball resting on wooden sticks inspired by Yingge Dance, blending lion dance tradition with local culture and basketball energy.
Yunfu: China's "Stone Capital"

Yunfu's jersey takes its colors from the city's signature industry: stone. Shades of gray and silver reflect the marble and stone craftsmanship that earned Yunfu the title of China's "Stone Capital." The slogan "Rock the Ground" works on two levels, capturing both the intensity of basketball and the city's long tradition of stone carving.
At the center of the design is Panlong Cave, one of Yunfu's best-known landmarks. It is a karst wonder that has formed over more than 170 million years. Inside the cave, crystal clusters sparkle like gemstones, while translucent stone draperies cascade along the walls. Below it is a purple lychee, inspired by the ancient lychee tree at Guo'en Temple, which local legend says was planted by the Sixth Patriarch Huineng more than a thousand years ago.
Together, the design blends Yunfu's natural beauty, cultural heritage, and industrial identity into a modern look.
As the final regular-season round arrives, this series draws to a close, offering a journey through Guangdong's living landmarks and local traditions through every design on the court. From city to city, each jersey has carried its own story.
