As the Guangdong City Basketball League reaches its penultimate round, the regular season is fast approaching its finale. With the playoff race heating up, excitement now extends well beyond the court. AIGC posters reimagine each city’s jersey through local landmarks, culture and traditions, turning each uniform into a wearable visual story of Guangdong.
Today, the spotlight turns to Maoming, Zhaoqing, and Qingyuan.
Maoming: China Lychee Expo Museum & Huajuhong

Maoming's poster draws inspiration from the city's deep ties to lychee culture and Huajuhong. Located in southwestern Guangdong, China, Maoming is widely known as the "Hometown of Chinese Lychee," with vast orchards stretching across the region.
At the center of the design is the China Lychee Expo Museum, the country’s only national-level museum dedicated to lychees. Its architecture draws on the grandeur of the Tang Dynasty (618-907), with layered roofs and deep eaves creating a traditional atmosphere amid endless lychee groves. The museum traces the history of lychee cultivation in China and highlights the fruit's importance to local life and culture.
Alongside lychees, Maoming is also known for Huajuhong, a local medicinal specialty made from the dried peel of a distinctive local citrus variety. Traditionally aged for years, it is widely used in Chinese herbal culture and valued for supporting respiratory and digestive health.
Zhaoqing: Seven Star Crags (Qixingyan) & Lingnan heritage

Zhaoqing's poster draws inspiration from the city's famous natural landscapes and rich Lingnan culture. Located in western Guangdong, Zhaoqing is known for its lakes, mountains, forests, and historic landmarks.
At the heart of the design are the Seven Star Crags, a scenic area where seven limestone peaks rise from the waters of Star Lake. Often called the "First Wonder of Lingnan," the landscape brings together hills, caves, rivers, and lakes, forming one of southern China's most iconic views.
The poster also features Dinghu Mountain, China's first nature reserve. Covered in dense subtropical forest, it is home to rich biodiversity and is often described as a natural "species gene bank." It is also associated with the Silver Pheasant, a nationally protected bird and the provincial bird of Guangdong.
Alongside its natural scenery, Zhaoqing is also known for Guozheng Zongzi, a well-known local rice dumpling. Unlike the common zongzi usually eaten during the Dragon Boat Festival, Guozheng Zongzi is wrapped in Dong Ye, a local phrynium leaf, and tightly tied with grass. It is typically large and shaped like a pillow or large pyramid .
Qingyuan: Hometown of Rafting & Phoenix City

Qingyuan's jersey captures the energy of the rivers that made the city famous. Known as China’s "Hometown of Rafting" for its world-class white-water rapids, Qingyuan embodies adventure. The slogan "Conquer the Rapids" highlights its bold extreme-sports identity.
At the heart of the design, a phoenix spreads its wings in flight, paying tribute to Qingyuan’s former name, "Phoenix City" (Fengcheng), and its enduring legend of rebirth and rise. Beneath it, the Beijiang River winds through mist-shrouded peaks in flowing water patterns. As the city’s mother river, the Beijiang has shaped Qingyuan’s landscape and nurtured local life for centuries.
Wrapping around the player's arms are geometric Yao ethnic embroidery patterns, honoring the Yao communities scattered across Qingyuan's northern mountains. Featuring interlocking diamonds and stepped lines, these traditional designs have been passed down through generations and bring a touch of indigenous heritage to the modern game.
As the tournament heats up, the competition becomes a journey through Guangdong's living landmarks and local traditions. With the regular season nearing its end, every game now carries extra weight..
