AAP Editor-in-Chief: Australian people see China as a leader in innovative technology

The Asia-Pacific Media Forum will be held in Shenzhen, Guangdong, on September 5. The theme for this year is "Building a Path to Shared Prosperity for the Asia-Pacific Community: Media Consensus and Action."

When visiting Ming Yang Smart Energy in Zhongshan, Guangdong, on September 4, Andrew Drummond, Editor-in-Chief of Australian Associated Press (AAP), highlighted Australia's strong appetite for renewable energy, especially in heavy industry—where balancing green commitments with industrial growth is crucial. He praised Ming Yang Smart Energy's R&D innovations, noting that their technology "might have a place in Australia and in many other places across the world."

Drummond also observed that Australia looks to China as a leader in development and technology, and that battery storage and electric vehicles are now hot topics in the national conversation.
