Ahmed Al-Kuhali, CEO of Saudi Arabia-based Bayt Solution, is a regular visitor to the Canton Fair. His company specializes in home and office solutions, including furniture and smart home products. Between the fair's phases, he always makes time for an equally important task: visiting factories.
During the 139th Canton Fair, Ahmed traveled from the Canton Fair Complex in Guangzhou to Muxiansen Furniture, a furniture company in Foshan. His "mission" was practical and hands-on. At the company's warehouse, he inspected an overseas order for office furniture, including several office desks and chairs, checked fittings such as screws, and requested extra parts in case of future loss. After the inspection, Ahmed oversaw the loading of the goods into a container.
At Muxiansen's showroom, Ahmed explored new possibilities. He showed strong interest in new trends in office products, such as liftable meeting tables and pop-up display screens. As a supplier serving the Middle East market, he also discussed material preferences with the manager.
According to Ahmed, he tries to attend every session of the Canton Fair because it allows him to discover new products and gain fresh experiences. He believes China is the world's factory, and the Canton Fair offers a window into its vast manufacturing landscape, all in one place. In the future, he plans to establish a new office in Foshan and build sustainable partnerships with local suppliers.
