During the 2025 Guangdong Qingyuan Drifting Culture and Tourism Season, 1,000 couples were invited on a romantic journey. Three couples from last year returned to the scenic routes where their love began.
Newlyweds Qiu Zhenyu and Xuan Jinmin said: "This time, we came even more prepared than last year. Now we retrace the paths we once walked with our child, to see the scenery, to feel the vibrant Beijiang River and the majestic natural landscape."
Couple Tang Lehan and Chen Zhixiong shared that during Qingyuan's 2-day romantic getaway,
they were excited to drift through Gulong Gorge, and take on the high-altitude thrills at the Cliff Amusement Park.
Qingyuan, renowned as "China's Drifting Capital" and the drifting hub of Guangdong Province, boasts rugged canyons and rushing rivers. Every summer, this hotspot turns into a cooling oasis where thrilling rafting adventures draw crowds of thrill-seekers by the thousands.
