Take on robot at Guangzhou's first robot badminton court

PHYBOT's first immersive humanoid robot experience venue, the PHYBOT C Badminton Court, officially opened on July 11 at the B1 atrium of CapitaMall Rock Square in Guangzhou's Haizhu District. On July 14, visitors flocked to the venue to experience humanoid robots playing badminton firsthand.

Designed as the company's first public interactive experience space for humanoid robots, the venue centers on the bipedal PHYBOT C series. It integrates technology, sports, and entertainment to create an immersive, hands-on robotics experience.

The venue's main attraction is the PHYBOT C2 bipedal humanoid robot, which invites visitors to play with it on the badminton court. Equipped with computer vision, motion control and real-time decision-making capabilities, PHYBOT C2 can independently detect incoming shots, move across the court, and return the shuttlecock. This allows visitors to enjoy extended rallies while experiencing embodied AI up close in a sporting environment.

In addition to badminton, the venue features a variety of interactive games. Participants can earn C Coins by completing challenges and redeem them for exclusive PHYBOT C merchandise. Visitors can also operate robots to catch limited-edition prizes under staff guidance, providing another exciting way to experience embodied AI in action.

This is not PHYBOT C2's first public appearance. At the 139th Canton Fair, the robot rallied with thousands of overseas buyers, drawing enthusiastic applause. Now moving from the exhibition hall to a shopping mall, PHYBOT C2 introduces a new summer destination in Guangzhou that combines cutting-edge technology, sports, and social interaction.

With the opening of the PHYBOT C Badminton Court, PHYBOT continues to explore new consumer applications for embodied AI, bringing humanoid robots from technology demonstrations into everyday public life. The experience runs from July 11 to August 4, offering visitors the opportunity to interact with humanoid robots firsthand and discover the latest advancements in embodied AI.
