The Liantang team delivered an outstanding performance in the high-pole lion dance category, impressing the judges with difficult moves, including pole-to-pole leaps, midair spins, and the symbolic "cai qing" (plucking the greens) maneuver, ultimately securing a well-deserved third place.
The achievement of the Liantang team showcases the exceptional skill and dedication of Foshan's lion dancers. It also proves that Zhangcha, as a National Demonstration Subdistrict for Dragon and Lion Dance, has taken its dragon and lion culture from the local community to the world stage, bringing local Lingnan culture to an international audience.
