China's 15th National Games, co-hosted for the first time by Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, came to a close in Shenzhen on November 21. As fifteen cellos sounded in unison, the main cauldron at Guangdong Olympic Stadium slowly dimmed, marking the end of the 15th National Games.
The next edition of the National Games will be held in Hunan Province, a neighboring province of Guangdong. At the closing ceremony, the National Games flag was passed to Hunan Province.
