Kazakhstan's top media figure, Serik Korzhumbayev, Editor-in-Chief of DKNEWS.KZ and Delovoy Kazakhstan, visited BYD's exhibition at the Asia-Pacific Media Forum in Shenzhen on September 5.
Impressed by BYD's ultra-fast charging and blade battery systems, he said these technologies are vital for his country, which already imports many Chinese electric vehicles and has launched new energy ventures with Chinese support.
His own company uses BYD cars, and he hopes to see the flash-charging system—delivering 10%–70% in 5 minutes and 10%–97% in 9 minutes, even at –30°C—introduced to Kazakhstan. "We were waiting for this system," he noted.
The visit highlighted deepening China-Central Asia ties in green mobility, with Korzhumbayev seeing strong potential for further cooperation in electric transport.
