The "Guangdong Meets the APEC: Nanshan Never Stops" themed exhibition was held in the atrium of Lotte Mall, Jakarta, on September 22.
The exhibition features one certificate for overseas Chinese returning to China and three qiaopi letters — overseas remittance letters sent by Chinese migrants—from Yuan Xiqun, a post-90s PE teacher at Pingshan School in Nanshan District.
These artifacts document a cross-ocean history of migration, separation, sacrifice and family ties between China and Indonesia.
More than 20 exhibits from over 10 Nanshan companies—spanning cutting-edge technologies, game digital software and cultural and creative merchandise—blend technological innovation with cultural and historical storytelling, showcasing Nanshan's innovative vitality and cultural depth to audiences across the Asia-Pacific.
Running alongside the exhibition is a photo exhibition showcasing eight signature landscapes of Nanshan, offering Indonesian media and residents a vivid glimpse of Nanshan's urban character and cultural charm.
