On July 5, the opening of the 7th Winter Melon Cultural Festival was held in Huanglong Village, Beijiao, Shunde, Foshan City.
The black-skinned winter melon is a specialty agricultural product of Huanglong Village.
Since 2018, Huanglong Village has hosted a cooking competition featuring winter melon dishes, marking the start of the first Winter Melon Cultural Festival.
Nowadays, the Winter Melon Cultural Festival has added activities such as dragon boat racing and experiences with winter melon-themed cultural and creative products, making the festival increasingly diverse and enjoyable.
Using culture as a bridge, villagers relate to each other more harmoniously; by promoting the winter melon brand, an increasing number of tourists are drawn here to experience it.
