From September 2 to 4, a group of international journalists is embarking on a media tour across Guangdong Province.
On September 3, Nur-ul Afida Kamaludin, CEO of Malaysian National News Agency, visited the Hengqin Digital Zero-Carbon Island Shared Laboratory and the 220 kV Qinyun Substation of China Southern Power Grid in Zhuhai.
After the visit, she stated that electricity is the number one commodity for every country. Citing previous blackouts that happened in Malaysia, Afida appealed for more collaboration between China and her country on reliable electricity in the fields of finance, talents and expertise.
