World-renowned tenor Plácido Domingo explores intangible cultural heritage in Guangzhou

World-renowned tenor and one of the "Three Tenors," Plácido Domingo, visited the Guangzhou Cultural & Arts Centre on December 3, strolling through Lingnan gardens and experiencing intangible cultural heritage.

On the evening of December 2, Domingo made his debut at the Guangzhou Opera House, presenting a grand and unforgettable performance.

After his concert, Domingo and his team visited the Guangzhou Cultural & Arts Centre. At the "Stories in Dough Sculpture Exhibition of Xiao School Dough Artworks," he toured a wide range of dough sculptures, immersing himself in the charm of China's traditional intangible heritage.

Domingo also received a special gift — the Guangzhou documentary Pearl River. He noted that art is a universal language. China has many genres of traditional opera, and he expressed hope to collaborate with some of them on his next visit.
