With China's 15th National Games approaching, the adorable mascots, "Xiyangyang" and "Lerongrong," are now decorating the streets of Maoming, Guangdong, adding a vibrant sports atmosphere to the city.
In key areas such as the South Square of Maoming Railway Station, brightly colored and lively event-themed landscapes stand out prominently. Currently, the National Games-themed exhibition boards at Maoming Railway Station have been refreshed, and the Maoming Olympic Sports Center has illuminated its lights to welcome the event. National Games elements at key locations such as main roads and city squares continue to be enhanced, further intensifying the festive atmosphere.
As early as May this year, the first mass event of the 15th National Games – the final of the orienteering event – was held in multiple locations in Maoming, including Dianbai, Gaozhou, Huazhou, and Maoming New Town. Athletes and sports enthusiasts from across the country gathered here, experiencing the unique charm of Maoming's diverse terrain through competition.
Today, with "Xiyangyang" and "Lerongrong" visible throughout the city, the excitement of the National Games continues to surge in Maoming, and the city is also welcoming the upcoming sports feast with great enthusiasm.
