On October 22, foreign travel operators and influencers, invited to the 2026 High-Quality Development Event for Inbound Tourism & Guangdong Magical Night Carnival, arrived in Shunde, Foshan—a UNESCO City of Gastronomy—for a journey of intangible cultural heritage discovery. The influencers experienced the handmade Gambiered Canton Gauze craft, toured the classic Lingnan garden and observed Cantonese embroidery craftsmanship up close, and tried making buffalo milk curd slices themselves.
As night fell, Shunde welcomed the overseas travel influencers with a traditional lion dance performance and a trendy humanoid robot kung fu show. And this ICH-themed banquet features a host of local intangible cultural heritage delicacies. Every bite is brimming with rich cultural charm!
Inbound tourism in Shunde continues to heat up: since 2025, Shunde has received around 2.53 million overseas visitors.
