Gao Wen, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering—one of China's top academic institutions—highlighted the vital role of cultural values in guiding the ethical development of artificial intelligence (AI) at the Forum on Building up China's Cultural Strength 2025, on May 26.
Gao pointed out that cultural values serve as a guiding compass for the development of AI. Integrating culture into AI can help it advance in a positive way and become a valuable partner in the progress of human society.
