With the impressive debut of the J-35A in Zhuhai, China's three domestically developed air force fighter jets—J-10C, J-16, and J-20—officially expanded to four. The debut of the J-35A also signifies that China has become the second country, following the United States, to equip its air force with two types of stealth fighters, and the only nation to produce two types of fifth-generation fighter jets simultaneously.
In addition to the J-35A, the in-flight refueling aircraft YU-20 and the J-10C operated by the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Air Force's August 1st aerobatics team have also completed preparatory flight training for the 15th Airshow China.
This year's airshow will feature a comprehensive showcase of equipment for land, sea, air, and aerospace, as well as electronic equipment, and those in cyber domains, with an array of high-end, precise, and cutting-edge exhibits representing world-class advancements. These displays will collectively showcase China's innovations in aerospace and national defense industries.
