The Hengqin Marathon kicked off at 7 AM, bringing together nearly 20,000 runners from 12 countries and regions. With over 1,300 participants from Hong Kong and Macao, including 900 Macao runners, the event highlighted seamless cross-border access and a breathtaking island circuit route. Runners experienced key landmarks like Hengqin Port, the University of Macao's Hengqin campus, and Tianmu River, showcasing the integration of sports, culture, and urban development in the region.
