A Guangdong-made "recovery gadget" is changing how people stretch and recover after workouts. The RheoFit A1, a fully automatic foam roller developed by Shenzhen-based Yunwang Innovation, flips the traditional idea on its head — instead of you rolling on it, it rolls on you. Users simply put their weight on it, keep their hands free and let it do the work. Paired with a companion app, the roller lets users adjust the mode, target area and speed.
The product is now available in more than 20 countries and regions, with key overseas markets including the United States, Canada, the EU, the UK, Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong (China). Jocelyn Cai, overseas market specialist at Yunwang Innovation, said the fully automatic rolling function and the hands-free experience won high praise from users, especially those who work out regularly or like to unwind after a long day.
