"China's Stone Capital," Yunfu City in central-west Guangdong Province, is launching a global promotional campaign for its benchmark stone materials starting from January through the spring season of 2026.
Yunfu is the world's distribution hub for stone materials. Products crafted from Yunfu stone are exported to over 100 countries and regions worldwide through artistic creations, construction supplies, and home furnishings.
In 2024, the city's stone industry—spanning the entire supply chain from raw material extraction to design, R&D, logistics, and sales—achieved an annual industrial output value of approximately 35 billion yuan. This makes Yunfu one of the most integrated stone industry bases globally.
Yunfu's stone legacy dates back 800,000 years. Today, the industry has evolved from producing utilitarian tools and building materials to creating artistic treasures. Through skillful craftsmanship, ordinary stone is transformed into trendy cultural products and elegant home decor in Yunfu and then shipped to the world, demonstrating the robust global reach of Guangdong-made goods and artistry.
