"Starting from May 1, 2026, China will officially implement zero-tariff policy on 100% of tariff lines for products from Africa," said Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi at the press conference on March 8 during the fourth session of the 14th National People's Congress.
He highlighted that China will use tariff reduction to promote trade increase and achieve better well-being of the peoples between China and Africa.
