Namibia's trade minister hails China's innovation for humanity's future

Namibia's Minister of International Relations and Trade Selma Ashipala-Musavyi visited the 139th Canton Fair in Guangzhou, the provincial capital of Guangdong on April 14–15.

Calling the fair "a global mall" that showcases China's significant advances in manufacturing and agriculture, Minister Ashipala-Musavyi extended an invitation to Chinese companies to set up manufacturing plants in Namibia.

"We want to bring Namibian and Chinese business people closer together so that you can also participate in our manufacturing process," the minister said, emphasizing digitalization as the way forward and the importance of mutual support through cooperation.
