On May 18, Lianjiang in Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province, held a lychee promotion conference, where on-site procurement contracts exceeded RMB 307 million. Foreign buyers signed contracts worth RMB 175 million. This year marks the 20th anniversary of Lianjiang's lychee exports. Over the past three years, Lianjiang has exported more than 15,000 tons of lychees, with a total value exceeding RMB 200 million. One in five lychees exported from China comes from Lianjiang.
