Robots are transforming parcel sorting in China. A video of a parcel sorting system shows that robots can not only sort parcels efficiently, but also handle abnormal parcels and correct positioning errors. This marks a key leap for these machines from lab demonstrations to real-world use.
Developed by Shenzhen-based X Square Robot, these machines can identify, flip and sort parcels autonomously and are being deployed in commercial logistics operations in China.
