The Asia-Pacific Media Forum will be held in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, on September 5. Starting September 2, media delegations from APEC economies are touring the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Their itinerary includes visits to the cities of Guangzhou, Foshan, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Zhuhai and Zhongshan.
Aman ul Haq, Controller of International Relations, Pakistan Television Corporation Limited, said that the outside world's perception of China as a "closed" country is a major misunderstanding.
He described China as a very open and progressive society, where women are working openly and the youth are everywhere. He added, "The youth are progressing and contributing to the country. This is very important."
