"Multipolar coexistence is the right way forward," said Foreign Minister Wang Yi on March 8. Speaking at a press conference on the sidelines of the fourth session of the 14th National People's Congress, he stressed that China will never seek hegemony, no matter how developed it becomes.
Wang called on major countries to act with vision and duty. They must abide by rules and uphold the rule of law. China stands ready to work with all nations to embrace a multipolar world.
