The Southern China Book Fair opened in Guangzhou on August 27. Nguyen Viet Dung, Consul General of Vietnam in Guangzhou, said the APEC Cultural Pavilion provides an excellent platform to showcase the 2026 APEC "China Year" and offers a valuable example for Vietnam, which will host the APEC Economic Leaders' Week in 2027.
He also praised the book fair as a showcase of a vibrant reading culture, bringing people together and fostering greater mutual understanding.
