From June 6 to 7, the 2026 China BMX Freestyle League & Asian Games National Team Trials (Dongguan Huangjiang) took place. Over 100 professional riders from Guangdong, Anhui, Sichuan and other parts of the country gathered in Huangjiang, Dongguan, showcasing superb speed and skill.

A professional training and competition venue
The venue spans around 10,000 square meters. The track is built to the same standards as the BMX freestyle course for the 2024 Olympic Qualifier Series held in Shanghai, making it one of the few professional training and competition venues in China that meets Olympic standards and is capable of hosting international events.

Daniil Stroganov, a former Russian professional BMX rider who now coaches young riders in Shenzhen, made a special trip to watch the event. He marveled, "This isn't my first time watching a competition here. Many of the Chinese riders are incredibly talented. Their standard improves year on year, their tricks are becoming increasingly difficult, and they're jumping higher and higher–it's truly astonishing."
