The "A Date with China" 2026 Annual Content Creation Exchange Meeting was held in Zhuhai on October 23.
The event brought together Chinese and foreign journalists, experts, online influencers, innovation leaders, Gen Z youngsters and business representatives to share experiences and suggestions on innovating China's global narratives and telling authentic Chinese stories.
Multiple opinion leaders shared their on-site experiences in China, noting that China is sometimes misunderstood. Based on their firsthand experiences, they shared their stories of an authentic life in China—featuring advanced robots, new energy vehicles, large-scale infrastructure, convenient daily life and unique cultural experiences.
The event also launched the "A Date with China" China-Foreign Youth Content Creation Initiative, an open platform tailored for global Gen Z creators to support cross-border content creation and sharing.
