Canton Fair meets demands for prices, quality, fast delivery: Brazilian industry rep

As the 140th Canton Fair is underway in Guangzhou, a delegation of more than 40 industrialists from Paraíba, Brazil, has arrived to explore business opportunities and foster mutual exchanges. Led by Cassiano Pascoal Pereira Neto, President of the Federation of Industries of Paraíba, the group is bringing exhibits and seeking to build strong ties with China.

"We're fostering two-way exchanges, which are vital to Brazil's productive sector," said Cassiano Pascoal Pereira Neto.

The delegation represents a wide range of key industries. "Paraíba is located in the northeast of Brazil, where we need to vigorously develop the productive sector, with a strong focus on the sector we value so much, which is the industrial sector." he noted. "So, we are here with representatives from the minerals and mineral production sectors, civil construction, technology and fashion."

For the Brazilian industrialists, the Canton Fair's global reputation is a major draw. "This fair is a traditional fair that is renowned worldwide," he emphasized. "It is a world benchmark, so Brazil is present, and Paraíba is present here."

The core demands of the Brazilian industry are clear. "We are here precisely so that we can have this: price, quality and fast delivery of good products," Cassiano stated. "If China can offer this to Brazil's productive sector and to Paraíba, rest assured it will generate a lot of business."

Beyond trade, the delegation is also eager to absorb China's technological advancements. "So, it is very important for us to bring back to Brazil this knowledge that China is sharing so much with the world," he added.
