On May 28, the fourth Silk Road Friendship Ceremony was held in Kuqa County, Aksu Prefecture in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
At the event, 11 Silk Road Friendship Ambassadors of this year from various parts of the world gathered together and shared heartfelt stories about their experiences in China's project construction, cultural exchanges, and more. Jerry Grey, an Australian independent commentator who has lived in Zhongshan for 20 years, was awarded the honor of the fourth Silk Road Friendship Ambassador for "persistently telling authentic stories about China".
