How many APEC member economies can a visitor check off at the 22nd China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) during a single visit? The answer is: all 21.
An exhibition zone dedicated to APEC economies was launched at this year's ICIF, which runs from May 21 to 25 in Shenzhen. The zone highlights tourism, cultural products, heritage crafts, and food from across the Asia-Pacific region to strengthen regional exchanges and cooperation.
Among the items on display are National Geographic magazines from the United States, drip coffee from Vietnam, fine wine from Chile, alpaca wool plush toys from Peru, and pork jerky from Singapore, and so on. Many APEC member economies also present their cultural and tourism resources.
With Shenzhen set to host the APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting this November, the pavilion timely reflects regional cooperation: 21 economies, one hall, and a shared sense of closeness.
