A delegation from Senegal's ruling party, PASTEF (African Patriots of Senegal for Work, Ethics, and Fraternity), visited the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou on March 26, turning their cameras not on the skyline, but on something less visible—the city's development model.
From industrial zones to cutting-edge technologies like eVTOL aircraft, the delegation focused on how China has combined policy direction, innovation, and global engagement to drive rapid growth.
Several members said China's experience—from attracting foreign investment to advancing through technology and research—offers a pathway that countries like Senegal could adapt.
