China's State Council Information Office held a press conference in Beijing on September 18 to introduce the 140th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair), which will be held in Guangzhou from October 15 to November 4 in three phases.
Zhu Yong, Director General of the China Foreign Trade Centre, answered questions from journalists, highlighting the fair's focus on new product launches. More than 700 launch events will be held, with the number of new products up 15% from the previous edition.
For the first time, the fair will set up a dedicated area to showcase new products, helping exhibitors connect with potential buyers and create more opportunities for business matchmaking.
