The 2025 Southern China Book Fair will take place from August 15 to 19 in Guangdong. This is a cultural feast where books serve as a bridge between writers and readers from around the world.
Wendelin Van Draanen, an American writer of children's and young-adult fiction, expressed her eagerness to meet Chinese readers at the literary event. Her work, Flipped, a book telling two characters' points of view with teenage romance full of laughter and excitement, and the adapted movie has been popular among Chinese readers and audiences.
