Many parts of south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region are experiencing flooding, and neighboring Guangdong Province has also seen rising upstream inflows continue to push up water levels along the Xijiang River.
A red flood alert has been issued for the section of the Xijiang River that runs through Fengkai County in Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province. Authorities in Fengkai have mobilized to help residents move their belongings and make early preparations for flood prevention.
