"If you go to China, you'll never ever see the world in the same way again," renowned British scholar Martin Jacques stated in a recent interview with Middle East Eye.
He argued that visiting China would make many Westerners realize that the West is no longer the center of the world and that China is increasingly shaping the global landscape. Jacques added that China should not be viewed through a Western lens, as it cannot be fully understood within a Western framework.
