This video is based on a true story from the Community Mutual Aid Station in Jiayi Community, Dali, Nanhai, Foshan.
The story took place in September 2026. In the surveillance footage, a delivery rider takes a break between deliveries to quietly leave two cases of water in the community fridge and then walks away.
After noticing this, Director Xu of the Mutual Aid Station tracks down the rider and asks for his name. The rider simply replies: "It was just a small thing. No need to look for me. I just did what I could."
Since its launch in August 2026, the community fridge initiative has received over 2,500 bottles of donated water.
