A parade featuring national and provincial-level intangible cultural heritage Piaose (飘色) teams was held on May 19, the China Tourism Day, along Haibin Avenue in Shanwei, Guangdong Province.
Piaose, literally meaning flying color, is a traditional folk parade performance in which performers appear to "float" in the air through concealed supports. Teams, including Hetian Gaojing, Bomei Piaose, Wuchuan Piaose, Xinyi Piaose, and Shawan Piaose, gathered for a joint showcase, attracting crowds of locals and visitors.
