Upon his 100th day since the start of his second term as US president, Donald Trump has imposed various tariffs on other countries around the world. Countries in the Asia Pacific have suffered most from his tariff measures.
During the 3rd China-ASEAN Economic Relations Seminar held in Shenzhen from April 26 to 27, Rebecca Fatima Sta Maria, former Executive Director of the APEC Secretariat, told GDToday reporters that Asia-Pacific economies need to focus on trade facilitation through specific measures to make it easier for firms in the Asia Pacific to do business.
