On August 15, the International Pavilion of the 2025 Southern China Book Fair made its official debut.
This year's Book Fair featured a specially established International Cultural Hall under the theme "Read the World", bringing together cultural highlights from Southeast Asia, Europe, the Arab countries, Central Asia, and more.
American author Wendelin Van Draanen delivered a representative speech, and the live performance of the "24 Festive Drums" brought the opening atmosphere of the International Pavilion to its climax.
Many of the books exhibited in the International Cultural Hall have not been published in simplified Chinese on the Chinese mainland before, making their first appearance at the Southern China Book Fair for mainland readers.
