The Huangpu Frontier Inspection Station under the Guangzhou General Station of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection streamlined the export of a record shipment of 883 Chinese-made electric heavy-duty trucks from the Xinsha port area at Guangzhou Port on June 29 by introducing tailored customs clearance measures.
The shipment, manufactured by SANY Truck, set a new record for China's largest-ever single export of new energy tractor trucks, exceeding the industry's total 2025 exports of 877 vehicles.
The electric trucks will be deployed in overseas mining, port, cement, and logistics operations, reflecting growing international demand for Chinese-made electric commercial vehicles.
To support the large-scale shipment, the inspection station implemented an expedited clearance plan designed for the oversized electric trucks. The measures included advance declaration, a dedicated green channel, and direct loading upon the vessel's arrival, with officers working closely with the shipping agent to complete inspections before departure.
According to the officers from the Second Duty Team of the inspection station, the streamlined procedures reduced clearance time while fully meeting border security requirements, enabling the vehicles to move efficiently through the entire export process, from arrival at the port and transfer to vessel loading without delay.
